Family mini album with BoBunny and video tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my BoBunny video tutorial post.
I made a small, card size mini album with a new and most adorable BoBunny collection named Once upon a Lifetime.

Family mini album by Irit Shalom

This is an easy to make project and I decided  to make it without any fancy Mixed Media add- ons so the crafters on any level can make the same album.
If you like you sure can add stamping, stencils, mists and more mediums on the cover or inside pages, but I decided to  leave it  as is and the cardstock is so beautiful  that you don't really need to add anything.

Here  are some photos to show it and then you can see the full step by step video tutorial and to make a very similar mini album for your own family and your own memories to keep inside.

This is how it looks from the top:

And from the spine side- one single layered  chipboard was added to the spine:

More close- ups to the album:

And here are some of the inside pages:

Cherish the Past door hangers with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends ! Irit is here and I invite  you  to my new BoBunny post.

This time I decided to use  BoBunny new and gorgeous collection Once upon a Lifetime for two similar vintage style door hangers.
Actually it can be used as tags, door hangers or vine bottle embellishments too.

Both hangers were made in the same Mixed Media way.
First I hand /die cut them from a thick recycled chipboard.
Then I made a cardstock layer and glued it with Sticky Thumb glue runner.
As the next step both tags were covered with a thick layer of crackle paste using BoBunny stencils.
Then, when dry, they were misted a bit to get this vintage look.
Both front embellishment circles were made in the same way.
I layered cardstock, stickers and more cardstock over one large die cut circle.

On this hanger I used BoBunny tags die to make a tag and then die cut two crowns for the upper layer.
Both crowns were heat embossed with gold powder.

On the second hanger I added one more die cut layer (a clock) and heat embossed the die cut key and a key hole with copper embossing powder.

This is the fine example of this versatile collection.
A bit of mediums make it very grungy and vintage and you can make any Mixed Media project using parts of this collection.

One last look at both tags:

 Product list BoBunny:
 Once Upon a Lifetime collection:
12''*12'' cardstock:Once upon a lifetime, Ancestors, Generations, Grandparents, Pedigree, Relatives, Traditions
Once Upon a Lifetime Combo stickers
Nested Terrific tag dies
Tick Tock die
Royal Dies
Fancy Flourishes stencils
Mandala Garden Stencils
BoBunny Crackle paste Primer
BoBunny Crackle paste White
Double Dot Mocha Jewels

American Crafts:

I hope that you like my small Mixed Media creations today and would try to make something similar with our best ever Once upon the Lifetime collection!

Congratulations card with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today with my new Mixed Media card made with Magenta stencil and stamps.

One of the greatest things about Magenta products is that you can combine older and newer products in the most artistic way.
The stencil I used for the background with crackle paste is pretty new release. The flowers stamps are about year old.
And as you can see they are the perfect match one with another.

First I used the stencil over thick white cardstock front and when it was dry I added yellow mist over it.
Then I stamped, colored and hand cut the flowers and arranged them over the card.

I made a small step by step (no step photos) tutorial and you can recreate this card using it.
Step by step :1. Die cut the thick white cardstock card front. Add crackle texture paste over Magenta stencil and let it dry.
2. Mist the dry front with yellow Tattered Angels mist and let it dry. Add two thin washi tape strips on the right side of the card front.
3. Stamp Magenta flower stamps with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with SNS white detail embossing powder. Hand cut the flowers and water color with TA mists.
4. Arrange the flowers over the card and glue them as shown. Stamp Magenta sentiment and glue it over the card.

5. Glue some blue flower shaped sequins and add a few Nuvo drop dots over the card front.
